At 6.5 hectares, the Henann Resort in Bohol opens in April 2015 as the largest resort in the province. Located at Alona Beach in Panglao Island, it boasts of having the longest beachfront in the locality, what with 120 meters of the island’s famous white sand at its doorstep.
Its developer and operator, Henann Group of Resorts, bought the land off of its former Swiss owner in November 2010. Henann Group chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey stated that he chanced upon the property in an ocular, and saw its potential.
The resort provides for 400 rooms, with 12 luxury pool villas and presidential suites. It has three massive swimming pools, each equipped with a pool bar. Other amenities include VIP lounges, fitness and business centers, several restaurants, a boutique shop, open-air wedding venues, and a forthcoming convention center, with three stories spanning 2,160 square meters, able to accommodate up to 1,000 guests for various events and functions. Henann’s upmarket spa franchise, Kai Regency Spa, is also set to open in the resort.
"We continue the Henann legacy of providing world-class accommodations and top-notch service. As the province celebrates 'Visit Bohol 2015,' it is only fitting we formally open our doors to the public this year," issued Chusuey.
The Henann Group is known for the Boracay Regency as well as several other resorts within the popular tourist destination. It is expanding to Bohol with this endeavor, and has pending plans to open up shop in Palawan as well.
