Early this January, Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI) elected Aniceto Bisnar as the company's new president, replacing Francis Monera, who served as its president for eight years before resigning at the end of 2014 for retirement.
A former vice president at Ayala Land Inc. (ALI), an affiliate of CHI, Bisnar, 50, also previously held the position of executive vice president at CHI as well as its unit, Cebu Property Ventures and Development Corp. (CPVD).
Bisnar has also headed a number of ALI affiliates and subsidiaries. He was the head of commercial operations for the Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. (FBDC), developer of Bonifacio Global City and a member of the Ayala Group of companies.
Bisnar is also slated to serve as the company's director, Chairman of the Sustainable Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee, the Compensation Committee, and the Nomination Committee, according to CHI.
Based in Cebu, CHI was founded in 1988. It is known for its flagship township, the Cebu Business Park, and the Cebu I.T. Park, two contiguous, mixed-use, masterplanned developments in Cebu, developed in conjunction with ALI. It has raised office towers, residential subdivisions, condominiums, hotels, retail centers, and other staple urban establishments and amenities.
CHI’s projects include the 16-story FGU Center Cebu, an office condominium; 1016 Residences, an upscale residential tower co-developed with Ayala Land Premier; Amara, a seaside, resort-inspired residential community; and Ayala Center Cebu, a fully-integrated shopping center built in 1994 at the heart of the Cebu Business Park.
