1. Candle votives – Add a little bit of childlike whimsy to a little girl’s birthday table by using washi tape to decorate the candle votives. You can either use it to make a border around the rim of the candle votive or use several washi tape designs to wrap the entire candle holder. You can reuse the votives as you can easily remove the washi tape.2. Inspiration in the study room – Turn any boring corner in the home to a sanctuary of inspiration. Instead of hanging pictures and art pieces on the wall, why not put words of wisdom? Using washi tape, write insightful messages such as “Carpe Diem” and “You can do it!” on the wall to inspire all those who drop by.3. Color coded – Find your notebook easily in a bag overflowing with books by applying a color-coding system. Use different colored washi tapes for different subjects. You’ll never have to sift through each and every notebook again.4. Cute Furniture Makeovers - Play up any boring piece of furniture with washi tape. Make a cute border for your door, line the edges of your study table, or even makeover your lamp shade using brightly colored and patterned washi tape.5. Personalize your supplies – Never lose another pen and pencil again. Wrap washing tape around the pen or pencil. Even if a friend borrows a pen from you, they’ll remember to return it, because if it’s your pattern, they’ll know that it’s your property.
