A 10-hectare development in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Capitol Commons welcomed a posh addition to its retail attractions this December. Premium lifestyle mall, Estancia, opened its doors to the mall crowd for the holiday season, featuring luxury brands as well as international franchises in shopping and dining.
Spanning 30,000 square meters, the shopping hub provides over 70 retailers in designer fashion, concept restaurants, and lifestyle accouterments.
As for fashion, Estancia plays home to Isaac Mizrahi, a designer line from New York; P.S. from Aéropostale, the L.A.-based clothing retailer; Eden Park, a brand of apparel from France; AGATHA Paris, a line of jewelry and accessories; footwear by British brand Kurt Geiger, and by Swiss brand MBT; and Cortefiel, the second-largest clothing retailer in Spain.

Meanwhile, its dining options include Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen, Peanut Butter & Co., TWG, Banana Leaf, Pepper Lunch, Craft Coffee, and Clockwork, UCC's newest venture. Its concept restaurants have several to choose from, among them Shoju bar, Eum Ma Ne, Bap Bap, CoCo ICHIBANYA, and Buffalo Wild Wings, the first to open in the Philippines.
Capitol Commons developer Ortigas & Co. issued that Estancia is geared to be the neighborhood's top-notch retail facility, a go-to for luxury shopping.
General Manager of the company's Shopping Centers Division, Cathy Casares-Ko, explains that "Estancia" means "to stay a while."
"We built it to create an atmosphere that celebrates food, fashion, and entertainment; we built it in such a way that people will indeed be drawn to stay and linger at the mall," said Casares-Ko.
