Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) has kicked off construction at its first upmarket subdivision. Billed as The Enclave Alabang, the upcoming community heralds 10.5 hectares envisioned to "bring back the close-knit community lifestyle that used to be enjoyed healthily by the residents of many exclusive villages," according to Catherine Ilagan, executive vice president of FLI.
"[It's] the type of place where families are raised knowing other families in their neighbourhood," says Ilagan of this latest project, which has 169 single-detached homes, each with an average lot size of 350 square meters.
Landscaped open spaces and a one-hectare amenity area are on hand to encourage outdoor activities, and so that "families, especially children, [can] rediscover the joys of 'playing outside' the way it used to be," says Daphne Sanchez, senior assistant vice president of Filinvest Alabang.
Designed with a "modern Asian" theme, The Enclave is equipped with a central park, which has a playground, a watch tower, and a canopied seating area; a clubhouse, which comes with a roof garden, private function rooms, a fitness center, a kiddie pool, a lap pool, and changing rooms; and a man-made lagoon.
According to Sanchez, "The features and amenities we designed in The Enclave Alabang are intended to inspire this return to these ways of life."
Located along Daang Hari, The Enclave is close to centers of retail, leisure and education, including Southlinks Golf Club, Alabang Golf and Country Club, Alabang Town Center, Festival Mall, Paref Woodrose, San Beda College-Alabang, and De La Salle Santiago Zobel.
