Megaworld Corp. on Wednesday unveiled its first condominium in Southwoods City. Through its subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. (GERI), an integrated tourism developer, Megaworld developed and launched a two-tower condominium project, dubbed Holland Park. Named after the famous region in the Netherlands, the condominium is designed with a European look and feel.
Rachelle Peñaflorida, Megaworld's vice president for sales and marketing, described the need for condominium provisions located within a stone's throw of upcoming retail and business hubs within the Southwoods township.
“The rising demand for properties in Southwoods City prompts us to launch the first condominium project in the township, just a few months after we reached 90 percent sold out for Pahara,” said Peñaflorida, pertaining to the company's 26-hectare residential village in the township.
"As the first condominium development in Southwoods City, Holland Park will offer first-of-its-kind residences featuring the famous architectural wonders of Copenhagen. These residences right at the heart of the booming Southwoods City CBD will be perfect for families finding a refreshing abode surrounded by the lush greeneries of the township’s own golf course," said Peñaflorida.
At eight stories, the mid-rise Holland Park has 161 units, ranging from studio to three-bedroom types. Units span 30 to 106 square meters. Completion of Holland Park is pegged at 2017.
Southwoods City, a masterplanned township by Megaworld, has 561 hectares surrounded by a golf course. It is set to be a forthcoming Central Business District serving the local neighborhoods of Carmona, Cavite, and Binan, Laguna. Southwoods City is set to have a cyberpark; retail establishments, including the upcoming Southwoods Mall; a church; schools; a weekend market; leisure facilities and open parks; a transport hub; and a golf course.
