Show off. A peg board works wonders: providing easy access, it can hold a range of tools and utensils, and it doubles as a kitchen display.
Hang ‘em up. Free up some space in your shelves. Install hooks to the top of your kitchen cupboards and hang your cups and mugs as such.
Compartmentalize. Use tension rods to organize your shelves. They’ll keep pesky, space-consuming trays and chopping boards off to one side of your cupboard.
Think out of the box. A towel rack on the inside of your cupboard door can hold your pot lids, among other things. Use S-shaped hooks to hang other tools and utensils from the rack.
Wood would do. A simple wooden beam installed to your kitchen wall can serve many functions. Use the top as shelf space. Install hooks to the wood to hang your various kitchen tools from.
Place in pockets. A shoeholder in your kitchen can hold and organize various goods. It’s a smart way to store your snacks and food packets, for starters.
Use the laws of attraction. Display your knives and metal utensils on a magnetic strip. You can opt to buy these inventive fixtures or make one on your own – it’s cheap and quite simple. Install a series of round, ceramic magnets to the back of a thin strip of plywood using a trusty adhesive. Hang on your kitchen wall.
Make ‘em stick. Use a container packed with bamboo skewers as a knife holder: safe, effective, simple, and ingenious.
