Expect another architectural landmark in the Mall of Asia complex in the form of a Five E-com Center, one of SM Prime Commercial Properties Group’s latest projects.
The third of six, Five E-com is one of SM Prime's premiere iconic office buildings in the Mall of Asia complex, which is located in Pasay City.
David Rafael, a senior vice president for SM Prime's Commercial Property Group, says they’re optimistic about this building because it was primarily designed to capture the opportunities of the strong Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) market. He says they know that the BPO market is one of the strongest drivers of the Philippine economy.
When it comes to attracting the business of BPO companies, Rafael feels their track record is already solid, what with the success of the One E-com and Two E-com buildings. “Almost 35 percent of the area has been pre-leased to tenants. Within the first half of 2015, we expect to lease out 100 percent of Five E-com.”
A 15-level office building with a gross floor area of over 125 000 square meters (and around 85 000 square meters of leasable area), Five E-com Center tenants can look forward to both small and large offices, as well as covered bridge ways connecting the building to the other E-com buildings adjacent to it.
The building's location within the Mall of Asia complex also provides workers with SM Prime CPG's 24-hour security, utilities and power, and its choice positioning makes public transportation routes like bus lines and the MRT easily accessible.
The building is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2015.
