Cebu has been the center of trade and industry in the Visayas and the real estate field is no exception. For the past few years, Cebu real estate has been expanding and is expected to steadily increase until 2020.
Recently, the province has been placed as the 8th top global destination for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms and naturally, both foreign and local nationals have gained interest in purchasing property in Cebu. With this significant growth taking place, real estate companies are slowly finding other means of promoting their listings and one the avenues is advertising online.
Anthony Leuterio and Online Real Estate
Among the forerunners of online real estate advertising is Anthony “Tonton” Leuterio, founder of Cebu-based realty firm, Leuterio Realty and Filipino Home. For the past few years, the company has grown to be one of the biggest property firms in the province. When asked about why he chose Cebu as his home base he explains: “Any place in the Philippines is a great place to live, but if I'm to be asked about Cebu - it's the next emerging city in the Philippines so I'd like to live in a city that is open to more real estate opportunities.”
Aside from Leuterio Realty and Filipino Home, Mr. Leuterio is also the founder of Rent.ph, a recognized property rental site in the country. They offer efficient and comprehensive rental listings of houses, condominiums, apartments as well as hotels and inns. Through this project, Mr. Leuterio aims to provide an easy and convenient way for users to connect with real estate professionals.
Partnership of Property24 Philippines and Rent.ph
It’s no surprise that two of the top property websites in the country collaborated to address the growing market of real estate buyers and renters online. “We are proud of (the partnership with) Property24 Philippines and have the same vision too. This is something to watch out for." Leuterio adds.
This partnership is also in line with the Property24’s objective to showcase properties to a wider audience. Currently, listings in Rent.ph are seen in the Property24.com.ph and vice-versa. Both parties aim to provide the market with diverse property options.
