Property24 turned a year old on January 24. To commemorate its first year in the business, the country's fastest-growing property portal checked in on one of its loyal clients to see how her business has grown on its platform.
"I [had to look hard] for a website or any online advertising tool that could help me sell my listings," shares Nialla. A good property portal is a must, according to Nialla, because it can "help us [brokers] reach out to our target markets, and help us meet property finders."
Nialla finally happened upon Property24 by way of a referral gleaned from a broker's meeting. Nialla was told how the platform worked. She was offered to try it out, and given the assurance that she wouldn't have to keep using its services if it didn't prove effective.
But it did -- prove very effective, at that -- and Niala found herself more than happy with the results.
"Property24 really helped my business . . . as of now, there are many ongoing transactions from my Property24 inquiries, and most of them are qualified inquiries," enthuses Nialla. She says that the number of inquiries she's had is the best thing to come out of her chance foray into signing up for this service.
Unlike the standard property portal, Property24 is designed specifically for brokers, providing B2C (Business to Consumer) interactions and transactions, as opposed to C2C (Consumer to Consumer), thus ensuring that buyers connect with licensed professionals who know how to do the business.
Using Property24, brokers can set up their own "microsite"
on the portal to advertise their listings to serious homebuyers and investors. Nialla, whose account has been performing exceptionally well in terms of listing views and lead generation, shares her tips for reeling in buyer interest:
"People searching for online properties are attracted to pictures, promos, [good] prices and, of course, the location," says Nialla.
Property24.com.ph is the local chapter of Property24.com, the leading property portal in South Africa. To date, it houses thousands of real estate listings all over the Philippines. Its official Facebook page has garnered almost 150,000 likes in no time -- a sure sign of its increasing popularity.
"I recommend my fellow brokers to use Property24," advises Nialla. "Don't waste your effort, time, and money on ineffective online sites. Our time is precious, so be wise."
