Roxaco Land Corp. recently announced that Anya Resort and Residences, set in Tagaytay, will now stand as a high-end brand fit to compete amidst global standards.
Roxaco's executive vice president, Santiago R. Elizalde, stated that it is high time for the Philippines to have its own world-class resort experience on home turf.
“With many Filipinos already being well-travelled, they’ve seen the best of what the world can offer, encountered the unparalleled kind of service from their fellow Filipinos in the service industry, and they wonder, ‘Why don’t we have these at home?’" said Elizalde. "So we’re taking that need for a retreat, that degree of sophistication, as well as that iconic world-class service and hospitality Filipinos are known for, and we bring it together for a winning formula with Anya."
An integrated community, Anya is a gated enclave with 48 lots for residential use, a high-end boutique resort, and an array of luxury amenities and services designed for a quaint, relaxing retreat. Lots come in an average size of 400 - 450 square meters, with three home designs by architect Manny Miñana. Built on a verdant, rolling terrain in Tagaytay, “Anya” translates to “boundless” or “limitless” in Sanskrit.
In line with becoming a world-class benchmark in the leisure industry, residents will be provided with property management and resort benefits like room service, housekeeping, and maintenance.
“We’ve practically put our stamp on this segment; plus, the Philippines is recognized as the backbone of the leisure industry, but we still don’t have our own resort chain brand that can be truly considered world-class,” stated Elizalde. “If there is a time to establish our own brand, now’s the time to do it, hence, Anya.”
