Touted as the first serviced residence in BGC, the Ascott Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Manila opened its doors this month, boasting of design that was awarded the best in architecture at the 2014 Philippine Property Awards.
At 30 stories, the Ascott BGC has 220 residences consisting of studio units to three-bedroom penthouses. Studio and one-bedroom units were almost fully occupied during the residence's soft launch, held in early December. Meanwhile, construction of two- and three-bedroom units, plus other rooms and amenities offered, should see completion on January 31, 2015, according to management.

The Ascot BGC’s units come with a furnished kitchen bearing a fridge, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and various glassware, cutlery, utensils, and other cooking and dining equipment. Rooms are decked with a home entertainment system, providing cable TV, a Hi-Fi system, and an iPod dock.
The premises, meanwhile, provide amenities including a 25-meter lap pool, a gym with personal trainers, an office suite, meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, and a premium restaurant, called Alta, the residence's joint venture with Filipino chef Margarita Flores.
Owned and operated by The Ascott Limited, the Ascott BGC is located at 28th Street corner 5th Avenue in the touted "Home of Passionate Minds." Regional general manager of The Ascott Liminted, Arthur Gindap, noted that BGC is the perfect home for the type of living spaces and services offered by the Ascott.
“Bonifacio Global City has been recognized globally as the Philippines’ newest financial center as it is able to cater to the needs of various international businesses. In developing business cities like BGC in Taguig, serviced residences are preferred, especially with companies just starting their offices in the city which will require travelers to stay for extended periods,” said Gindap.
“With this, we find Ascott Bonfacio Global City Manila as the remaining piece of the puzzle that can cater to the upscale clientele in BGC to truly make the city the country’s newest CBD," Gindap said.
