Makati in the Philippines is first and foremost known to be one of the most prominent business centres, but aside from that the city has much to offer.
Makati City is definitely one of the go-to places for a shopping trip. With all the malls in this city, it is impossible for you not to find what you are looking for. But if your taste is a little bit off the mainstream and what you’re looking for is something more unique and more edgy, then try paying the Collective a visit. Located in Malugay Street, Makati City, shoppers with the more adventurous taste will definitely find it impossible to go home empty handed.
It is downright impossible for one to just enumerate all the restaurants in Makati. There is probably a restaurant in every street in the whole of the city. A good place to start perusing for places to eat would be Pasay Road also known as A. Arnaiz Ave. The whole street is filled to capacity with restaurants to satisfy every palette. Just a quick drive through the length of the avenue and you’ll be sure to find somewhere to dine.
If you’re in the mood to just stroll around and get some fresh air, then look no further, Makati is filled with parks full of trees and greenery perfect for walking your pets, going for a jog or even for walking around with your date. The most popular option to go to for a stroll would be the Ayala Triangle. It’s big and spacious so that almost every spot you go to feels like your own private haven.
So after office hours, you don’t even have to leave the city to find a place to relax and unwind. Just exit your building and start walking. You’re bound to find a place where you can blow off some steam. - Michelle Alyssa Tiu
