The bathroom is generally not a place where you linger so you’ll want everything you need to be in its designated place.
The sink is where you brush your teeth, wash your face, shave and the like. It’s best to keep the things you put there to a minimum. Keep only the most frequently used things on the top of the sink itself. Limit it to your toothbrush, toothpaste and razor.
If the bathroom is your ideal place to put your medicine, then what better way to store it than the medicine cabinet. But if you have your medicine stored elsewhere, then the medicine cabinet would be the best place to put the things that will otherwise end up cluttered around your sink. Things like your facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, dental floss and mouthwash would be best hidden away in a medicine cabinet.
Under the sink
The cabinet under the sink isn’t really the ideal place to store anything delicate. Typically, cleaning products for the maintenance of the bathroom are what end up under here. It’s also a good place to store extra toilet paper, sanitary napkins and other such items as long as you keep the paper products in the plastic wrappers they came in.
In the shower area itself, it’s best to have some sort of shelving or shower caddy. When picking out your shower caddy, remember to make allowances for the bigger bottled products that you use in the shower. As for the shelving, be sure that it is installed at a height you’re comfortable with. Keep everything you use on a daily basis on the lower shelf and the other products on the upper shelf.
Staying organized in the bathroom will make sure that everything is in order when you’re getting yourself ready for the day ahead.
