1. You would notice that the palette of the suite’s interiors is always a muted tone. Unless you have a favourite colour palette that you are adamant to use (for example, red), opt for neutral, soothing colours such as pale yellow, blue, grey, beige and the like.2. Complementing your colour palette, use lights wisely to illumine your bedroom. Opt for softer, yellow lights that are not too bright and distracting. If you need a bright light for doing work inside the bedroom, bring in a reading lamp.3. One of the reasons sleeping in a hotel bed is so luxurious is because they invest in ultra-comfortable bed linens, pillows, mattresses and comforters. Since we spend almost a third of our lives sleeping, it seems fair to splurge a little bit on certain pieces that will ensure us a good night’s sleep. Invest in the perfect pillows and the highest thread count (for your linens) that will fit your budget.4. We may encounter stress and chaos outside of our homes on a daily basis, but that doesn’t mean we should bring it into our sanctuary. One way to remove unnecessary stress is to tidy up. Notice how hotel suites are always clean and have no clutter, without any speck of dirt? Keep your space spotless to encourage that same relaxed vibe.
