These cleaning hacks don’t have to use Coke, of course -- you can opt for other brands of dark, carbonated soft-drink for the same results.- Coke can remove rust. Leave small, rusty metal objects submerged in Coke overnight and scrub them clean in the morning.- Coke can also remove paint spatters from metal surfaces. Just dip a towel in Coke and leave it over the affected area for a few days, making sure to dampen it with Coke when it dries out.- Use cloth dipped in Coke to wipe off bugs and dust from your car windows and windshield. You can use it on glass windows and surfaces in your home, too. Rinse off with water afterwards.- Pour Coke into a blackened metal pot and place it on the stove over low heat. After about an hour, rinse the pot clean. The Coke should help get rid of the soot and grit stuck inside.- Out of toilet cleaner? Coke can lend a hand in the meantime. Just pour the drink into the toilet. The phosphoric acid in Coke can get rid of the lime buildup.- Coke can remove grease, blood, and bad odor from clothes. Simply add a can of Coke to the wash with your usual detergent.
