Villar-owned Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc. announced five upcoming projects in the next three months. Located in Caloocan, Rizal, and Laguna, the developments are upcoming Camella Homes, the company's brand of masterplanned subdivisions catered to the mid-income segment. The subdivisions are designed with amenities such as clubhouses, swimming pools, function halls, playgrounds, parks, jogging or bike lanes, and basketball or badminton courts.
Company chairman Manuel Villar Jr. stated that the five projects will be up for pre-selling within the next five to six months. This is in addition to the following on-going developments: Camella Carson in Vista City; Camella Alta in Silang, Cavite; Camella Velize in Dasmariñas, Cavite; Camella Verra Metro North in Valenzuela City; and Camella Sierra Metro East, in Antipolo.
"We are very bullish this 2015. Last year, our housing units are immediately sold out. These [upcoming] projects are big scale," said Villar.
"We are by far the leader in the house-and-lot segment and have a strong competitive advantage given our track record of delivering quality homes for more than 35 years," Villar stated.
Vista Land launched up to 44 residential projects in 2014. Its net income last year rose by 13 pecent, going from P5.06 billion to P5.7 billion. Its revenues, meanwhile, rose by 11 percent, from P20.02 billion to P22.2 billion.
Vista Land recently announced plans to raise $100 million from loans to fund its office and retail divisions.
